Transportation Rating Engine

Situation
A Transportation Management System (TMS) provider was experiencing difficulties with their existing rating engines. Their exponential growth, combined with new customer demands for more complex tariffs and multiple modes, had begun to push their exisiting engines' capabilities.

Solution
myRates was introduced and rolled-out with a new customer implementation to test in a stand-alone environment. myLogistics hosted the application initially and transacted rate requests via the internet. Once satisified with the accuracy and performance of myRates, the rating engine was brought into their "existing IT environment" and a tariff migration progressed from their original engines.

• Fixed and variable costing at the tariff and/or tariff/lane level: percentage%, per mile, per stop, flat rate, per unit.
• User friendly tariff loading and tariff editing capabilities permitted a quick and efficient transfer of existing tariffs.
